  • a Responding animals are those with reciprocal 50% neutralizing titers of ≥10. All sera failed to neutralize murine leukemia virus Env-pseudotyped viruses at the lowest serum dilution tested (1:10). All animals were primed with clade C gp120 DNA and boosted with the V3-CTB immunogen(s) as indicated in Table 1 and the text. Data shown are the reciprocals of GMT50 values for responding animals in each group. NT, not tested. Pseudoviruses highlighted in blue are included in the clade B standard panel (42); those highlighted in purple are included in the clade C standard panel (43). The pseudoviruses are ordered from the most neutralization-sensitive pseudovirus (MW965.26) on the far left to the most resistant (RHPA429.7) on the far right. Order is based on cluster analysis of NAb data from a multiclade panel of plasma used to assess overall sensitivity (56). An additional five pseudoviruses from the standard clade B and C panels (REJO4541.67, TRO.11, SC422661.8, ZM214M.PL15, and ZM197M.PB7) were tested but not neutralized by any of the immune sera; the data from these assays are not included above. Neutralizing Abs detected in animals boosted with CTBWT were induced by the DNA prime.
