  • a Six Mamu-A*01 rhesus monkeys were infected with SIVmac251 by the intravenous route. Plasma viral RNA was measured by ultrasensitive branched DNA amplification assay, and T cell subsets were enumerated by flow cytometry. Peak (day 14) and set point (day 84) plasma viral RNA levels and preinfection and set point absolute CD4+ T cell counts are summarized.
