  • a The hybridomas were established by Sheshberadaran et al. (28). The specificities originally determined were confirmed in the present work by Western blotting after the switch to IgA. Antigens H and F are on the surface of the virus, and N is internal. IgA and IgG isotypes, including IgG subclasses, were determined by ELISA. Hybridoma 16CF7-G secreted both IgG1 and IgG2a. The percentage of the total IgA that was oligomeric was assessed by fast protein liquid chromatography.
