  • a Cells were infected at an MOI of 3 with reovirus strain Lang. After adsorption, cells were incubated at 37°C in media that either did or did not contain CHT at 10 μg/ml. Samples were harvested at 24 h p.i., and yields were determined by a modified CHT plaque assay on L929 cells. Each value represents the yield from three independent samples, calculated as described in Materials and Methods. Cells are ranked relative to the amount of viral growth in the absence of CHT; the least permissive cells are found at the bottom of the table.
