  • a Tissues from patients with clinical and histopathological diagnoses of chickenpox (CP), zoster (Z), Grover's disease (G) or HSV-2 were subjected to immunohistochemical analysis for immediate-early (IE63p), early (ORF29p), and late (gC) virus proteins in epithelial (EP), endothelial (EN), or inflammatory cells expressing CD43 (WBC) or in dermal nerves (NE).
