  • a Virus replication was assessed by measuring RT activity (in counts per minute per milliliter) in supernatants of infected SCP cells treated or not with DMSO, methanol, PD98059, or U0126. Treatments were added 1 h prior to infection and maintained in the media throughout the experiment. Supernatants were collected after 5 to 7 days of infection. Data are expressed as a percentage of the infected, untreated samples. Data for treated samples are means ± standard deviations.
