All Rights Reserved.): Three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction of a coxsackievirus B3 complexed with the complement regulatory protein, decay-accelerating factor (DAF), which the virus uses as a cellular receptor. Interaction with the virus alters the structure of DAF from the known crystal structure. The density in the 3-D reconstruction that corresponds to DAF is gold, and the virus density is shaded blue according to radius, in order to show the location of the canyon in darker blue.
